The Lovely Bones By Alice Sebold

I recently finished the story called "The Lovely Bones." This book is all about a 14 year old girl named Susie Salmon who was murdered on her way home from school. This book also talks about Susie's heaven and the lengths her family will go to find her murderer. This book touches the hearts of many people. Alice Sebold adds emotion to every word written. I like this book because it is realistic fiction. I warn you, if you are planning to read this book make sure you have your tissues handy. Now I did not cry while reading this book, but if you are sensitive or get emotional fast you might. I admit I did get teary eyed in some parts. This book is spot on with the message it is trying to send young readers. The message is: Don't talk to strangers! No matter how well you know them, you might not know them as well as you think you know them. I know, it sounds quite confusing, but if you plan to read this you'll understand. I hope this review helped! If you are interested in reading the book The Lovely Bones By Alice Sebold click here.
