Hurricane Song

In the book Hurricane Song, Miles didn't think his father loved him. As time progressed you saw an immediate change in the Father-Son relationship when Hurricane Katrina hit. Pops used to only care about his music as Katrina did its damage. Pop realized he needed to protect his son, there were also many changes that affected their relationship because in the epilogue, Miles got a call from his mother asking him to come home. Miles refused because of the bond growing between him and his father.
